In Home Healthcare Services (Program retired June 30, 2023 after 46 years)
A division of Good Neighbors, Inc. since 1977, The Homemaker Services Program provides services that ensure the health, safety and general well-being of the elderly of our community. the program targets frail elderly and disabled persons within the City of Chattanooga who are unable to perform basic nonmedical housekeeping functions.
Theses services could include Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly assistance such as:
- Light Housekeeping
- Laundry & Ironing Assistance
- Take Out Garbage
- Change Linens
- Make Beds
- Dust Furniture
- Errands (drop off/pick up cleaning, grocery shopping, pick up prescriptions, etc.)
- Assist with utilizing medical care
- Meals/food preparation
- Home management
Personal Care Services
- Grooming
- Dressing
- Bathing
